About Me:
Morris Gevirtz
There must be 10 profiles of me on the internet and that is sick. Buy hey, that’s life in the US, in 2011. I was born in 1985 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan State, in the United States of America. My mother is Chilean (as am I) and I spent a few years growing up in my antipodean nation. My father is United Statesian and I have lived most of my life here too. Most of my tours are to Latin America because I speak Spanish. I have a degree in Classics. As of August 2011 I am in Graduate School in Indiana University working on Plan B, in case tours and marrying rich don’t work out… For this reason, what ever tours I lead, I will lead during the summers. I’ve also taken several courses in Ornithology and even lectured for a few hours on the matter.
I started Epic Bird Tours in 2008, thinking it would be an overnight success. That was not the case. Over these years, I have lead a tour, traveled widely in search of birds, and escorted friends in and out of mountain valleys and famous ruins. I love learning, travelling and teaching. My other projects too have an internet presence:
